Table Listing

Most of text displays are available in both Primary Table Editor, Work Table Editor and Synoptic Table Editor. All displays explained here are available in menu List of the three editors.

1. Listing Table Information

1.1 Publishable Table

Displaying the work table in a tabulated text format may help users to present the table in a publishable way. List Publication Table option in menu List is used for this purpose. The table is shown as a text list of different blocks of relevé infomation, each block composed of n relevés. A minimum constancy value is specified, so taxon entries with lower constancy are not listed in block tabulated form, they are listed after all the relevé blocs. An additional synthetic column can be added to the table listing, which can be choosen to be in numerical or latin format.

1.2 Listing Relevé Fields*

This option yields a raw text listing information in a relevé based way. Associated data (ecology, structure, geography) and general information (authors, syntaxonomy...) to be listed is selected by means of a simple checking dialog.

1.3 Listing Taxon Reports*

Relevé tables can be transformed into taxon reports by enumerating all taxons for each relevé. When selecting List Taxon Reports in List menu a table is displayed in a dialog. Such a table can be exported in two forms (menu File in the dialog):

  1. XML citation format for FAGUS module of Vegana.
  2. Tabulated Text format for comunication with other programs.

2. Listing Taxon Entries

The 'List Taxons...' menu enables the list of the taxon entries that has the table in a given moment (i.e. all the table rows excepting inserted comments). All lists all taxon entries. Name Synonyms lists only those taxons that have a namecode diferent from icode and therefore is a synonym name. The taxon valid name is shown in that list. Analysis Synonyms lists all taxons where icode is different from analysis code so another taxon is more appropiate for analysing purposes.
